Someone was pitying me the other day and asking me if I actually enjoyed food!??
I said that I loved whole foods, meats and eggs. She looked at me like I was nuts and it really irritated me. Poor me! I love eating amazing healthy foods so much that I’m losing my baby weight very slow! Ha! Don’t feel sorry for me! I love food!

Grown up kids meal, we have those days when we need something comforting.  You can have a comfort meal without filling your belly with GF arsenic (I mean rice) pasta. Or some other starch/carb load. 
Remember, starch, grains (& yes, rice and corn are grains) all break down to sugar. These all feed everything terrible in your body! They feed fat cells, bad bacterias, cancer cells, yeast & disease!
I think many people out there think if they are eating gluten free, they are eating healthy! Wrong! Read what’s in those Glutino crackers you picked up from Costco, or what’s in those Annie’s GF bunny crackers. It’s not pretty.
Stick to whole foods, pastured proteins and sprouted nuts and nut meals!

EMFs & Radiation!!

Laptops, Wifi, Microwaves, TV’s, Cell Phones, Blue tooth, wireless printers, iPads, all give off electro magnetic fields that are extremely harmful to out health. Some may call it radiation among other names  but most people assume there is nothing you can do to combat these modern day conveniences.  Wrong!! Start simple then add add many of these practices as you can!

2. Himalayan salt 
You can place salt candle holders, lamps, or blocks in from of TV’s, in between you and your laptop, or all over the house like I do.  Salt naturally pulls the radiation down so it doesn’t make it to you!

3. Keep all electrical devises away from you when you sleep! Cell phones, baby monitors, alarm clocks, ect. Your body needs to reset at night and this is the most important time to keep these devices away!

4. Sleep in natural surroundings, A latex mattress, wool or silk comforters, bamboo sheets, organic cotton. Avoid poly fabrics & synthetics that cause static.

5. Wear natural merino wool socks, organic cotton socks and natural shoes barefoot like Birkenstocks.

6. Keep your phone off your body, out of your pockets, farthest pocket in your purse or whatever you can do to keep it off your body and talk using speaker phone or the corded ear piece. Also keep your phone in airplane mode at night and purchase a radiation blocking case or small radiation blocker to slide in your case. I hot mine at sbdee

7. Eat root veggies or drink root juice like carrots, beets ect.


8. Opt for wood floors, wool carpeting or other natural options like cork. Synthetic carpets and pads off gas harmful chemicals and create electricity.

Zesty Paleo Lemon Cake

Dry Ingredients
1 3/4 cups almond flour
1/4 cup fine coconut shreds 
¼ cup coconut flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
Zest from 3 lemons
Wet Ingredients
3 lemons, squeezed
2 tsp pure vanilla
3 large eggs
1/3 cup coconut milk
1/2 cup raw honey
2 tbs melted or soft virgin coconut oil
Instructions
1.    Preheat oven to 350-degrees F
2.    In the blender or food processor add all the wet ingredients and mix well
3.   Add all the dry ingredients to the blender
4.    Blend until smooth and mixed evenly
5.    Lightly grease 8 by 8 glass dish with coconut oil
6.   Line bottom of the pan with a piece of parchment paper to prevent sticking, cut paper to fit
7.    Bake about 35-40 minutes, or until inserted toothpick comes out clean (Note: cooking times and oven temperatures may vary)
8.    Remove from oven and allow to completely cool before removing from pan
9.    Slice and serve – top with fresh fruit and coconut whipped cream if desired

Add a tablespoon of poppy seeds to the batter for lemon poppy pound cake!

Poop

Ok! I’m hearing this too much and it’s not Ok! Everyone needs to poop daily. Infants, children & adults! Now that I have said it, here is how you do it.

Infants-
the Windi (sometimes thier little bums are just so tight it can’t get out. Lube up a disposable windi with coconut oil, insert and massage the baby’s tummy with a little coconut oil clockwise.

Magnesium oil-(amazon, whole foods, natural grocer)
You can google how to make magnesium oil with magnesium flakes. It’s cheap and easy. Get the flakes from amazon, azurestandard or Swansons online. You can also but magnesium oil (salt water) and spray a tiny spray ok babies feet bottoms. It absorbs into their body and gets things moving. Sometimes in just an hour or so.

Natural calm magnesium-(amazon/whole foods)
If you are nursing, you could consume 1/2 tsp-1 tsp nightly and your baby will get it through your breast milk. Make sure you don’t take too much and get the runs yourself.

Extended tummy time-
This helps get things moving! Most babies are on their backs way too much and need pressure to make poop.

Kids******
Start by removing dairy and gluten & starch for severe constipation.
Have your child eat soups made with homemade stock, smoothies, homemade veggie juices with a little apple.
Have them stick to meat, fruits and veggies that are low starch.

Constipation is serious and can do serious damage. Sometimes there is intestinal inflammation and the child’s system needs a break.

If doing this type of diet for a few days to a week sounds crazy to you, your crazy. Most parents are not feeding their children anything with nutritional value. You think that’s not going to catch up with them, think again. Eczema, food intolerances, rashes, thrush (yeast), asthma, chronic ear infections. All a sign of poor gut health and poor nutrition.

Natural calm magnesium
I would start with 1/4 to 1/2 tsp daily.
You should consult with a reputable Intagraive medicine doc for all of my suggestions. Many regular doctors would tell you these things won’t work. They are ignorant if they tell you that. Sorry! My kids and many others are living proof!

Magnesium oil-
Foot sprays, morning and night. You can also do a few sprays on the feet bottoms and wrap them with a warm wet towel.

Castor oil pack-
Rub a little organic castor oil on the belly clockwise and lay a warm wet towel on the belly. Take it off before it cools. This may course a red, blotchy belly because it is detoxing. Totally normal.

These suggestions for kids work for adults as well.

Oh ya, This little enema bulb is a great quick relief!

You boil filtered water is a stainless steel pan (must be surgical stainless steel or you will be flooding your bowels with toxins!) allow to cool to room temp and fill! add a pinch of aluminum free baking soda and sea salt to the water while hot for electrolytes.
