First things first! The first thing that one needs to do to get healthy is switch to healthy fats.

Poop

Ok! I’m hearing this too much and it’s not Ok! Everyone needs to poop daily. Infants, children & adults! Now that I have said it, here is how you do it.

Infants-
the Windi (sometimes thier little bums are just so tight it can’t get out. Lube up a disposable windi with coconut oil, insert and massage the baby’s tummy with a little coconut oil clockwise.

Magnesium oil-(amazon, whole foods, natural grocer)
You can google how to make magnesium oil with magnesium flakes. It’s cheap and easy. Get the flakes from amazon, azurestandard or Swansons online. You can also but magnesium oil (salt water) and spray a tiny spray ok babies feet bottoms. It absorbs into their body and gets things moving. Sometimes in just an hour or so.

Natural calm magnesium-(amazon/whole foods)
If you are nursing, you could consume 1/2 tsp-1 tsp nightly and your baby will get it through your breast milk. Make sure you don’t take too much and get the runs yourself.

Extended tummy time-
This helps get things moving! Most babies are on their backs way too much and need pressure to make poop.

Kids******
Start by removing dairy and gluten & starch for severe constipation.
Have your child eat soups made with homemade stock, smoothies, homemade veggie juices with a little apple.
Have them stick to meat, fruits and veggies that are low starch.

Constipation is serious and can do serious damage. Sometimes there is intestinal inflammation and the child’s system needs a break.

If doing this type of diet for a few days to a week sounds crazy to you, your crazy. Most parents are not feeding their children anything with nutritional value. You think that’s not going to catch up with them, think again. Eczema, food intolerances, rashes, thrush (yeast), asthma, chronic ear infections. All a sign of poor gut health and poor nutrition.

Natural calm magnesium
I would start with 1/4 to 1/2 tsp daily.
You should consult with a reputable Intagraive medicine doc for all of my suggestions. Many regular doctors would tell you these things won’t work. They are ignorant if they tell you that. Sorry! My kids and many others are living proof!

Magnesium oil-
Foot sprays, morning and night. You can also do a few sprays on the feet bottoms and wrap them with a warm wet towel.

Castor oil pack-
Rub a little organic castor oil on the belly clockwise and lay a warm wet towel on the belly. Take it off before it cools. This may course a red, blotchy belly because it is detoxing. Totally normal.

These suggestions for kids work for adults as well.

They can be extremely gentle, I have made videos on how to do them. I’ll put up a link. Make sure you buy a cozy silicone nozzle that is flexible if your kit does not come with one!

Baked pancakes

Seems that people living this lifestyle want a knock of healthy version of the junk everyone else eats. Fine, fine!

Here are some awesome baked pancakes.

The recipe may look familiar because it’s my muffin recipe. You can actually make this recipe with other nut butters.

1&1/2 cups cashew butter (I use homemade plain ground organic cashews in my juicer)
 2 eggs 
 1 & 1/3 large very ripe bananas (I always have ripe bananas frozen, no need to defrost) 
 3 tbs raw honey 
 1 & 1/2 tsps. pure vanilla extract
 1/2 t. baking soda 
 1/4 t. sea salt
 1/2 tsp cinnamon 
Instructions
 1. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees
 2. Throw all ingredients in your blender in order.
3. Blend until smooth and creamy
4. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper
5. Use a small spring loaded I’ve cream scoop to make perfect circles on the paper. Swirl the scoop in a circle to make them even like my picture.
6. Bake until golden brown on top 5-10 minutes (just watch them!)
They need to be browned to peel off!

Makes approx 18 pancakes or 12 small pancakes and 10 mini muffins like I made with this batch!

Serve with butter and maple syrup! Or paleo jam, or whatever 😜
